GSK COLLEGE operates through various committees to ensure transparency and foster the overall development of the college.
The Anti-Ragging Committee in Gauri Shankar Kanya Mahavidyalaya has been constituted in accordance with the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to ensure a safe and ragging-free environment for all students. As per UGC regulations, ragging in any form—physical, verbal, or psychological—is strictly prohibited and considered a punishable offense.
The committee comprises senior faculty members, administrative staff, and student representatives. Its primary responsibility is to monitor, prevent, and take prompt action against any incident of ragging on the college campus. The committee conducts awareness programs, orientation sessions, and displays anti-ragging posters across the campus to educate students about the consequences of ragging.
An Anti-Ragging Helpline and complaint box are also available to ensure students can report incidents confidentially and without fear. Strict disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion, is taken against those found guilty
The college is committed to creating a respectful and inclusive atmosphere where every student can learn and grow without intimidation. The Anti-Ragging Committee regularly submits reports to the UGC portal as mandated and ensures compliance with all legal and institutional norms..
